Marquardt is paving the way for further growth in Asia
During September, the company held a groundbreaking ceremony for its Marquardt Weihai plant in China.
At the new site in Weihai, Marquardt will manufacture products for the automotive industry; including battery management systems for electric vehicles, drive authorization systems and displays, the company says in an update.
The new plant will have a surface area of more than 20’000 square metres, which could be extended in the future. Construction is set to be complete by the end of 2018, with production expected to begin in 2018 as well.
