Google adds John Krafcik to self-driving car project
Google has added a heavy hitter to its self-driving car project. John Krafcik, president of TrueCar, confirmed his appointment via twitter saying; “Yes, true: I'm joining the Google Self-Driving Car project in late September.”
John Krafcik is currently the president of Truecar, an automotive pricing terminal, and the former CEO of Hyundai Motors America. In an emailed statement to Reuters, Google said that Chris Urmson, who's been leading the project since 2009, will stay on as the programs technical lead.© Twitter @johnkrafcik
