This is a follow-on order of additional units under its five-year firm-fixed price contract with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). "We are pleased to provide these additional MSC integrated surveillance systems to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security," said Andy Teich, President and CEO of Flir. "Our ability to integrate advanced imaging and sensing systems has provided our customers with proven, reliable, and robust solutions for protecting borders and providing long-range situational awareness. We look forward to continuing our successful deployment of these systems with the U.S. CBP in this important mission." Production of the MSC systems will be performed in Flir's facility in Elkridge, Maryland.
