Orbital ATK lands $25 million contract

Aerospace and defense technologies company, Orbital ATK, has landed a support contract for its common munitions built-in-test reprogramming equipment

Orbital ATK has received a USD 25 million 5-year contract from the Automated Test Systems Division, Agile Combat Support Directorate, at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia to provide contractor logistics support for the Common Munitions Built-in-Test Reprogramming Equipment (CMBRE) system. Orbital ATK will provide technical and logistic support, depot-level repair, engineering services for obsolescence mitigation for Air Force and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers and familiarization training for FMS customers. T “This contract continues to provide our U.S. Air Force and FMS customers seamless CMBRE support while ensuring inherently safe uninterrupted munitions testing and reprogramming capability for the warfighter,” said Bill Kasting, vice president and general manager of Orbital ATK’s Defense Electronic Systems division of the Defense Systems Group. “This past month we delivered our 1,000th CMBRE System, demonstrating our commitment to deliver affordable innovation on schedule and on budget to those who protect our nation and our partners in peace throughout the globe.”
