Siemens opens chip fab in Bulgaria
Siemens plans to start producing electronics components in Bulgaria. Siemens is currently reconstructing an old facility near Sofia.
Siemens plans to start production in October. The new factory will employ about 100 people.
Siemens recently won a contract worth 184 million Euro to supply new trains to the Bulgarian Railways. Siemens will also construct a heating utility in Sofia.
