Belgian SoC startup buys software firm

Essensium NV, a fabless provider of system-on-chip products and design services formed as a spin-off from the IMEC research center, has acquired Mind NV, a provider of embedded Linux and software integration services.
Mind delivers development, technical consulting, tool chains, training and support for Linux and DSP on embedded systems and is, like Essensium, based in Leuven, Belgium.

The amount spent on buying Mind was not disclosed.
