Videoton returns to Hungary
HQ Electronic Kft has restarted selling Videoton TV sets in Hungary 10 years after the original manufacturer stopped production of the communist-era household brand.
According to local news paper Napi Gazdaság, HQ Electronic has bought the Videoton brand from Videoton Holding Rt. The Videoton television sets are currently manufactured in Asia, with repair services provided by Videoton in Hungary.
