Tritech receives approval from<br> Chipcon and Freescale

Sweden based Tritech receives official approval by ChipCon (recently acquired by Texas Instrument) and Freescale for wireless solutions.
Tritech has received Design Center (ChipCon) and Design Alliance Partner (Freescale) status for short-distance radio (SDR) solutions based on respective manufacturer's chip technology.

The design center approval strengthens Tritech's goal to become Scandinavia's leading supplier of wireless communications capability of machine-to-machine (M2M) solutions in the industrial, utility and building automation markets.

- Tritech has been using ChipCon components for several years, says Christer Österlind, Manager of Industrial Wireless Solutions at Tritech. ChipCon's SDR radio technology has allowed us to implement cutting-edge solutions for our customers and it is also an integral part in our own MeshNET product platform line. Now we look forward to strengthening our relationship with Freescale.

Both ChipCon and Freescale provide compact and reliable radio-on-a-chip technology for license free wireless communication in the ISM frequency bands.
