Philips acquires Stentor
Philips has agreed to acquire the US based medical images business Stentor for $280 million in cash.
This move is a part of the Dutch electronics company's strategy to bolster its presence in the healthcare sector.
According to Philips the medical IT systems business is a growing market worth €20bn ($24bn) a year.
