Chipbond is looking to buy another plant
LCD Driver IC packaging company Chipbond Technology is looking to buy another plant. First International Computer Testing and Assembly Technology (FICTA) should be an alternative.
The existing plant at Chipbond's is tending to be fully loaded and the company is according to DigiTimes needing further manufacturing capacity. The company has reportedly paid some interest in FICTA's Hsinchu plant.
