HP to build new manufacturing facility in China

Foxconn is set to build HP's new printer manufacturing facility in Chongqing, China.

IT World , citing Chongqing's economic and information technology commission, reports that the facility will take two to three years to build and is expected to annually produce 40 million ink-jet printers, and 20 million laser printers, along with 150 million ink cartridges by 2015. Foxconn will build the facility, however HP has not divulged how much it will invest in the facility. HP CEO Meg Whitman was present at a signing ceremony with Chinese officials.
