HMS Networks signs new deal

HMS Networks has signed a development and supply agreement with a North American manufacturers of industrial automation and power control equipment.

The agreement concerns a new product for EtherNet/IP communications, connecting advanced power control components to industrial networks, the company said. The agreement is worth 2 MSEK (224,000 euro) during 2012 and an additional 7 MSEK (784,000 euro) per annum during the following two years, in total 16 MSEK (1.79 million euro) over the three year period. "I am happy to announce that HMS has received this prestigious order. Especially since one of the key factors for winning this business is our new FPGA based NP40 technology, which combines high performance, flexibility and small size packed together with our software suites – all required for this demanding application." says Staffan Dahlström, CEO at HMS Networks AB.
