Cogiscan wins Varitron contract
Group Varitron Technologies, an EMS provider based in St-Hubert, Quebec, has entered into a long-term corporate agreement with Cogiscan.
Varitron will gradually implement the complete suite of Cogiscan applications for a factory-wide TTC system from receiving to shipping across all of its factories.
The investment includes TTC software and leading-edge RFID technology to automate the tracking and control of PCBs, components and tooling throughout the manufacturing process. Varitron will collaborate with Cogiscan to develop and test new TTC solutions in a real production environment.
Varitron has already implemented some Cogiscan modules for component and feeder setup validation – online and offline – on Siplace placement machines.
