Wistron secures HP manufacturing orders
Taiwan-based Wistron has reportedly landed 2012 manufacturing orders from HP - edging out other EMS-companies.
Wistron reportedly secured rush orders from HP (from EMS-provider Flextronics). Foxconn is said to have lost some HP orders do to raising contract prices and is handling around 40% of HP's notebook orders.
EMS-provider Flextronics has recently announced that it would withdraw from notebook contract manufacturing (evertiq reported).
