Foxconn not to quit notebook manufacturing
EMS-giant Foxconn has refuted rumours that it would exit the notebook manufacturing business.
Foxconn will not follow business rival Flextronics and exit the notebook manufacturing business. As reported earlier, Flextronics has announced that it would phase out of the segment.
Foxconn's notebook manufacturing orders come from existing clients, therefore the company does not need to play any price cut games, reports DigiTimes naming Terry Guo as the source of information.
