Sony adopts Dialog’s DA7211 audio codec technology

Dialog Semiconductor will supply its DA7211 audio IC to electronics giant Sony.
The first Sony consumer device to benefit from Dialog’s audio technology is the new series of compact digital recorders. Sony has already launched this high end IC recorder product series.

“Validation of our new audio technology through these design wins at Sony, a premier globally recognised consumer brand, represents an important milestone for Dialog,” commented Udo Kratz, vice president and general manager for audio and power management at Dialog.
