French start-up acquires Indian firm
TES Electronic Solutions, a French electronic design and manufacturing firm, will acquire Purple Vision, a five-year old Indian provider of design services company.
TES plans to expand geographically and increase its design resources. TES was formed last December through the acquisition of an electronics design and manufacturing unit of Thales by a consortium of investors. The acquisition raises TES's staff to 500 design engineers in 16 global locations. Purple Vision specializes in still and moving image processing algorithms.
