Merix to sell Hong Kong facility
US-based PCB-manufacturer Merix is to sell its former manufacturing facility in Hong Kong.
Merix has reached a binding agreement to sell the building and long-term land lease of its former manufacturing facility in Hong Kong. The sale - worth around US$11.1 million - is expected to close in 1Q/2010. The sale is however subject to approval by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park.
As previously announced, Merix is to be acquired by US-based PCB manufacturer Viasystem. However, the agreement is currently under investigation and two class action lawsuits have been filed.
