Continental opens R&D office in Romania

Continental has opened the new office building for the employees of the Automotive Group R&D Center in Romania. The foundation stone of the building with a floor space of about 9,000 m² was laid on November 27, 2008. The investment reached approximately 20 million euros. The development center hosts research and engineer­ing for all three Automotive Group Divisions, Chassis & Safety, Powertrain, and Interior. At the Continental R&D Center in Iasi are working currently around 450 em­ployees.
