Hansatech invests in future

Hansatech EMS, a Poole based EMS-provider celebrates its 25th anniversary in contract manufacturing. Having started as a small operation on Poole Quay in 1984 to develop the then fledgling surface-mount technology, the company has maintained its focus on managing design for manufacture, test strategy, new product introduction, project management and manufacturing services for OEM companies based in the UK or overseas. This year, Hansatech EMS ramps up investment in lean manufacturing to gain efficiencies, lower costs and improve processes across its operations. Paul Gill, Managing Director, commented, "Rex Weygood, our Technical Manager, has been with the company since it was first established and is widely respected in the industry.
