Which OEMs are the big players using connectors in the computer & peripheral segment?
What are the names of the end-use customers that use interconnect products? And who are the top10 among them? A report from ConnectorSupplier attempts to establish a list with identifying manufacturers in their specific market place.
However, CM companies as well as manufacturers of semiconductors have deliberately not been included in the list; only end-use equipment manufacturers, the report states. It also has to be noted that all companies - although the have their base of origin listed - do not necessarily make the majority of their revenue there. Each sector does not necessarily list the same number of manufacturers, which is primarily based on their connector usage in each end-use sector, the generated revenue from sales of equipment in each specific category, ConnectorSupplier states.
Computer and Peripheral Products
This particular sector used around 20.5% of all interconnect products in 2007, which makes it the second-largest consumer of connector products.
