Scanfil has closed Finnish plant

Resulting to the negotiations the personnel of Oulu plant will decrease in all by 53 persons concerning all personnel groups. In addition to aforementioned reductions temporary employments will end according to the contracts. Maintaining the competitiveness of the company requires, that in the future a part of the products made in the Oulu plant is produced in lower cost locations of Scanfil Group. Aim of the measurers is to both improve efficiency of Oulu plant and ensure competitiveness of Scanfil Group and have no effect to the earlier published estimates concerning the development of whole Scanfil Group.
