AWS increases EMS capacity of Slovakian plant

The Eastern European facility has seen major investment and has now received AWS standard regarding equipment, quality standards and procedures it is said. The entire Slovakian workforce has been trained at the group’s facilities in the UK. With the acquisition of an additional 1500m2 manufacturing space, the group has decided to install another surface mount production line, reports Electronicstalk. It is said that, after approved prototype manufacturing in the UK, most manufacturing service work will then be transferred to Slovakia.
