Avnet starts to distribute desktop printers
Avnet Technology Solutions has entered into a Pan-European distribution agreement with Datamax / O’Neil, both subsidiaries of Dover Corporation’s Product Identification & Printing Group.
The agreement enables Avnet to add the complete line of Datamax desktop printers, coupled with O'Neil's mobile printers, to its existing range of printing solutions to expand its offerings to customers. “As a new distribution partner, Avnet will play an important role in increasing European market share for Datamax / O’Neil by offering our full spectrum of printing solutions to its resellers across 31 European countries,” said Plamen Petkov,senior vice president for Marketing and Business Development for Datamax. “Our agreement with Avnet will also help us to raise our brand awareness through Avnet’s existing relationships with PC dealers, independent software vendors and IBM integrators.”
