Industrial displays market for TFT, OLED and EPD (E-Paper)
Kamil Kozłowski - COO - Unisystem
Display vendors have to face a constantly growing array of requirements: quantities are sometimes very small, project development is slow and price pressure grows. The presentation will provide a market analysis on supply stability problems and price issues.
  • 10:00 - 10:30
Wireless Power Transfer - Qi standard and specialized shielding materials
Piotr Gierwiatowski - Field Application Engineer - Wurth Elektronik Polska
During this presentation, participants will have the opportunity to learn about current trends in wireless power transfer technology. Different market standards will be discussed, with focus on the current market leader: Qi standard. From a technical point of view, engineers will have an opportunity to learn about the optimal coils selection, as well as new efficient magnetic shielding materials made from sintered ferrites will be shown in operation.
  • 10:30 - 11:00
New Pb-free Alloys for Improved Reliability
    Timothy O'Neill - AIM
The expansion of electronic assemblies into applications such has high performance LED lighting and under hood automotive require a solder alloy to operate at temperatures higher than 150 °C. When exposed to high service temperatures and thermal cycling, SAC305 undergoes significant microstructure evolution which leads to degradation of mechanical strength and poor creep resistance. In this study a novel high reliability lead-free solder alloy is introduced and the soldering and mechanical performance of this alloy is studied and compared with the reference SAC alloy. It is demonstrated that this new alloy with improved mechanical performance and relatively low melting temperature can be an ideal solder material for harsh and demanding applications.
  • 11:00 - 11:30
    Why space industry in Poland?
dr Krzysztof Kanawka - CEO - Blue Dot Solutions
The Polish space sector has been developing rapidly for several years. For layman, space industry and Poland may not sound like an obvious connection. However, the two - modern space industry and Poland - make a lot of sense.
  • 11:30 - 12:00
Soldering standards in ESA – an opportunity for Polish companies
Marcin Sudomir - Dyrektor Działu Szkoleń - Renex EEC
Thanks to a membership in the European Space Agency, which started in 2012, the Polish space industry is developing at a rapid pace. For many Polish companies this provides an opportunity to enhance innovation levels as well as access to the most advanced technologies. The presentation gives an overview on ESA policy and procedures for training and certification. Several ESA standards - ECSS-Q-ST-70-38, ECSS-Q-ST-70-28, ECSS-Q-ST-70-26, ECSS-Q-ST-70-08 - will be discussed.
  • 12:00 - 12:30
Demanding applications – technological and material requirements
    Piotr Ciszewski - Semicon
    Mariusz Sochacki - Semicon
The presentation discusses several problems connected with materials, components and technologies for electronic circuits production, designed for critical applications, like space, military, aviation and medical industries.
  • 12:30 - 13:00
    The 4th industrial revolution
Marcin Mędrala - Business Unit Manager - Fitech
How to face customers’ increasing requirements? The answer could be a 4th industrial revolution, based on things like Artificial Intelligence, Industrial IoT, Smart Factory or Robotics & Automation. Comprehension and integration of these opportunities would enable companies to meet challenges and allow them to develop.
  • 13:00 - 13:30
Funding from the EU – how to apply successfully?
Anna Zaleska - Senior Manager - Crido Taxand
The workshop aims to present important issues related to the process of applying for public funding, especially from the European Union. Main issues that will be discussed during the presentation are: - the definition of small and medium-sized enterprises and how to check the status of a company? - what kind of costs may be eligible for public support? - what is the difference between industrial research and experimental development work? - what are the forms of cooperation between enterprises and the scientific sector in the implementation of R&D projects? - what funding programs are available for enterprises in 2017? - Intelligent Growth Operational Programme or maybe the Regional Operational Programme - how to choose the optimal source of funding?
  • 13:30 - 14:00
Innovation in Laser Processing for electronic production
Florian Roick - Strategic Product Management - LPKF
During this presentation, three innovative technologies will be examined: solder paste stencil manufacturing methods and their impact on precision and accuracy, stress-free depaneling of assembled printed circuit boards with laser technology and laser plastic welding as the latest evolution in joining technology.
  • 14:00 - 14:30
PCBA machinery development in the age of Industry 4.0
Tomasz Dublasiewicz - CEO - Amtest
Come and find out how the industrial revolution 4.0 and the Internet of Things will influence our lives. What are the requirements for production processes?
  • 14:30 - 15:00
    Heat dissipating in demanding applications
