September's industrial subcontracting trade fair stands fully booked
The annual Subcontracting trade fair, which is to be held at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre 21 to 23 September 2010, will again showcase the key areas of industrial subcontracting - the metal, electronics, plastics, and rubber industries - and industrial ICT solutions. The fair, which is organised for the 20th time this year, attracts more visitors than any other Nordic subcontracting fair, and all the exhibitor stands have already been booked. Like last year, this year's fair will be open from Tuesday to Thursday.
- For many companies, the three days of the Subcontracting fair have often been the most important ones of the year. All of the available stands were booked already in the spring. This clearly indicates that companies see the Subcontracting fair as a strong marketing asset. Regardless of the uncertain economic situation, this major international Subcontracting fair is still going strong. Feedback from exhibitors confirms that visibility at the fair is crucial, especially in a challenging economic climate. They see the fair as a key networking opportunity and the number one event in Finland. Even though the economic situation was extremely grim last year, the atmosphere of the fair was a positive one, and I have every reason to believe that this year's fair will be even more optimistic, says Olli Tokoi, Project Manager at Tampere Trade Fairs Ltd.
When measured by the number of visitors, the Subcontracting fair has been the largest subcontracting event in the Nordic countries and the second largest in Europe for a number of years. When measured by the number of exhibitors, it is the largest industrial trade fair in Finland. Last year, the fair attracted 900 exhibitors and 16,840 visitors. -
