Qimonda to close US plant

German based chip maker Qimonda plans to close its plant Williston, US.
75 out of 125 will lose their jobs. Approximately 50 have been invited to move to a plant in North Carolina, US. Qimonda's North American division said it would shed 100 jobs in the coming months, with the bulk of them coming from the Vermont facility, which is scheduled to close by June 30.
