Flextronics sales weaker in industrial, automotive & telecoms

Flextronics CEO Michael McNamara said that the company is seeing some weakness in the industrial, automotive and telecommunications sectors. However the company is still strong in the consumer electronics section, Reuters reports. McNamara said during a Lehman Brothers investment conference, "We are probably seeing some slowness in three areas, industrial business, automotive and in telecoms infrastructure. We are not seeing any slowdown in mobile phones or consumer electronics, things you think might be affected by a recession." He also explained that "Where we may see a little softness in some segments, we're seeing strength in others.”
