Unexpected growth on German PCB market

According to ZVEI, the German printed circuit board market was 4,7 per cent higher in August 2007 than on the average in the respective comparison months since 2000.

The turn over is 6,5 per cent below the strong month of August 2006, however the accumulated value for 2007 is higher than the accumulated value for 2006. Unexpectedly the turn over increased during March to August 2007. This is very unusual according to ZVEI. Also the order income was unusually high. It lies 7,2 per cent over the order level of the comparison month of 2006 and 13 per cent over the average of many years. The Book ton Bill Ratio, a medium-term trend indicator, reached a value of 1,02. The number of employees increased slightly, for August is it the highest personnel level since 2002.
