Printar launches solder mask printer

Today at 11.00 AM Printar releases its Solder Mask Printer.
Printar launches first-ever, digital solder mask printing system. Printar’s newest innovation totally replaces current printing, coating, exposure and drying systems with a simple, one-step process.

In addition to eliminating the need to purchase, replace and maintain costly equipment, Printar’s digital solder-mask printing system also nets appreciable savings on ink and other materials:

• Ink is applied to board topology with proprietary conformal coating technology
• Via holes are kept free of solder mask
• Non-functional areas and panel borders no longer need to be coated
• Robust solder dams are preserved
• Thickness of the solder mask on conductor shoulders can be controlled
• Precision is increased with on-the-fly registration
• Inherently fire retardant
• Environmentally friendly, no chemical waste
