Kitron in cooperation with Tracab
Norway based EMS provider Kitron will produce Tracabs next generation football system called Tracab Image Tracking System
The TRACAB Image Tracking System follows all the players, umpires and how the boll move around in real time. TRACAB is first in the world to develop a system that follows the sport in real time. Ground technology is based on Saab AB’s robotic targeting system from the defence industry. Tracab has been already been used in Champions League among other games. Now the company’s expectations are to get Tracab in to the UEFA EURO 2008 next year in Austria and Switzerland.
