PartnerTech posts higher sales
PartnerTech AB, one of Sweden’s largest EMS-providers, has presented its interim report for Januari – March 2005. Net revenue rose to EUR 50,80 million (41,1). The operating profit amounted to EUR 2,06 million (1,15) for the quarter. The profit after full income tax was EUR 1,20 million (0,51).
The prospects for the contract manufacturing market remained largely the same during the first quarter as at the end of 2004. Thus, most sectors continued to experience unchanged demand, PartnerTech reports.
PartnerTech’s customers faced stable overall market conditions during the quarter. With the exception of renewed demand growth in the defense sector, the various business units exhibited comparable trends despite variations from segment to segment.
The tendency among PartnerTech's customers to outsource operating responsibility at a more advanced technical level accelerated. That is particularly advantageous for contract manufacturers that can handle complex, multi-component products, PartnerTech reports.
PartnerTech develops and manufactures under contract for companies primarily in telecommunications, IT, the engineering industry and medical technology. PartnerTech has some 1,150 employees and business in Europe, the USA and China.
