STS to close German office

UK based plasma etch systems maker Surface Technology Systems (STS) plc, plans to close its office in Ulm, Germany.

STS plans to centralize its European operations at it's headquarter in Newport, Wales. The company will centralize the support for spare parts and service in Europe on three strategic locations, United Kingdom, USA and Taiwan. By concentrating the efforts STS hopes to be more efficient and competitive.
