AT&S announces large investment
Austrian PCB manufacturing giant AT&S will invest 5 million euro to expand its facility in Fehring, Ausria, CEO Willi Doerflinger said.
AT&S is looking to hire engineers from Asia and the United States to assist Fehring become a leading flexible printed circuit boards plant. The worldwide flexible circuit market was worth $4.8 billion in 2003. Three-fifths of the world's circuit boards are produced in Japan, according to PCBWorld.com. AT&S expects that the production of circuit boards will grow by 12% every year.
