LPKF Germany wins additional solar orders

These laser systems are used to produce thin-film solar cells on large glass substrates. The details of the orders remain confidential as agreed with the client. LPKF announced its entry into the solar market in January 2007 with an order for two solar structurers. The subsidiary LPKF SolarQuipment GmbH located in Suhl/Germany, was started up at the end of March 2007. This subsidiary concentrates exclusively on the distribution, development and production of laser structurers for solar cells. SolarQuipment benefits enormously here from the many years of experience and in-depth competence of the LPKF Group in laser material processing and hi-tech drive technology.
