Chip firm opens in Slovenia, appoints ChipX
Beyond Semiconductor, a semiconductor intellectual property company has opened its doors in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The company offers three 32-bit RISC processors. Major customers are Swedish Ericsson and Belgian Klavis Technologies SA. It has also signed US based distributor ChipX Inc. for sale of its cores.
Beyond Semiconductor is a privately held fabless semiconductor IP company supplying embedded processor IP technology for digital consumer, networking, personal entertainment, communications and industrial applications. Beyond Semiconductor's product offering includes 32-bit embedded RISC/DSP processors, software development tools, peripheral cores and complete reference platforms that enable Licensees to quickly start with product development.
