Scanfil suspected of economic malpractice
Finland-based EMS-provider Scanfil told local media Tuesday that Finnish authorities were considering pressing charges for the alleged offences.
Scanfil was suspected of serious economic malpractice. According to Scanfil the alleged malpractice is said to have occurred at the end of 2005 and the beginning of 2006.
Local news reported that two Scanfil board members are suspected of large sales of Scanfil stock just a few months before the company issued a profit warning. After the warning the value of the shares fell by 16 per cent.
