ICmic to train 450 UK engineers

Malaysian fabless mixed-signal and RFIC supplier, IC Microsystems Sdn. Bhd., is planning to set up in England.
This is part of a Malaysian government backed push into the European semiconductor market. IC Microsystems will cooperate with University Kuala Lumpur, Malaysian government enterprise agency and US based CAD specialist Silvaco International Inc. to create a training academy located in Cyberjaya. The academy will train 450 engineers over the next five years. Of these about 20 percent are expected to become entrepreneurs creating employment on the global electronics market.
