TT electronics' profit up 47%

TT electronics reported a 47% increase in full year pre-tax profit for 2006 and remains confident about revenue growth in 2007.

Strong market condition is said to be the reason for the increased profit. Profit before tax for the year to 31 December jumped to £3m from £8m on revenue of £.3m versus £.3m in 2005. Profit before tax and exceptionals grew 23% to £5m. The group is now looking to grow in new markets like China and India. TT's Autopad range of inductive sensors will be included in vehicles being produced this year. It is expected that volumes will increase as these sensors are built into further ranges of new vehicles.
