Worker sues Nokia China for discrimination

Finish mobile phone maker Nokia is facing a lawsuit in China for discrimination.

A Chinese man placed the lawsuit on Tuesday against Nokia China for cancelling plans to hire him due to his Hepatitis B infection, the Financial Times reports. In China discrimination against Hepatitis B is reportedly rife in China despite being illegal. Mr Li as the man has been identified has called for Nokia to reverse its decision and to pay the equivalent of almost 50,000 euros in indemnities.
