Three merging firms formed Alpha3

Alpha3 will be focussing on manufacturing cable harness wiring, custom enclosures and other electro-mechanical sub-assembly work. The three companies that have joined forces are the Abacus-owned companies CCS Electronics in Runcorn, Cheshire, CTL Manufacturing in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, and DEM Manufacturing in Scunthorpe. Alpha3 will have 240 employees. “We are going to keep the three sites. An important part of what they do is still the local relationships. Some customers don't even want to use you if you are more than 45 minutes away. These three firms have a band of customers around them", said the new manager, Clifford Friel, for the newly formed company.
