AWS buys Cemgraft
UK-based EMS provider AWS has bought fast-track PCB specialist Cemgraft Electronic Manufacturing in Newbury, United Kingdom.
Cemgraft is specialised in BGA and micro BGA processes and mounting on Printed Circuit Boards. The turnover is 14 million UK Pounds per year. Cemgrafts site will now become AWS's centre for PCBs.
AWS was acquired through a Management Buyout earlier this year. AWS then acquired Jantec Electronic Services with units in Berkshire and Staffordshire, the UK. Their latest acquisition of Cemgraft, AWS brings in a total number of 375 employees and an 30 million UK Pounds turnover per year.
