Viasystems to close Dutch plant
Viasystems Group yesterday announced its Chinese expansions. Therefore Viasystems will close its remaining board facility in Echt, the Netherlands.
Cisco Systems is believed to be a customer of Viasystems' Netherlands plant, known as Mommers. Viasystems also closes down its Canadian plant. The plants generated less than 9% of Viasystems total revenue in 2004.
