NEC and Panasonic in mobile JV
NEC and Panasonic has formed a joint venture within mobile handset technology.
The two Japanese electronics providers NEC and Panasonic has established a joint venture to develop mobile platforms and mobile software.
NEC and Panasonic has been working together before with the development of 3G handsets for the mobile operator DoCoMo.
This new company, called Esteemo, starts its operations on November 6th and will employ about 130 people.
