IPS Alpha to build LCD plant in Czech Republic
LCD display maker IPS Alpha has launched the construction of a new plant in Zatec, northern Bohemia.
According to local media the company will invest over CZK 2.6 billion in the Triangle industrial park. The plant will employ 2,000 staff until 2008.
The capacity should suffice to cover the whole of Europe. The company has paid approximately CZK 32 million to the Ustecky region for 23 hectares of land.
