Sweden's largest PCB maker files for bankruptcy

Despite the heavy increase in orders and the positive result for the first half 2006 the company couldn´t avoid a bankruptcy. "To survive through the summer holidays we needed a larger billing that we now have managed therefore we now have to take this step", Elektrotryck's owner and CEO Anders Björsell told evertiq. "Hopefully a solution can be found that would lead to that the business will continue which would be great for the Swedish industry", Anders Björsell stated. A big part of Elektrotryck's output is delivered to Nordic telecom equipment makers and they may be significantly affected by Elektrotryck's bankruptcy as Elektrotryck has almost one fourth of Sweden's total PCB manufacturing.
