BenQ to lay off 300 in Germany
According to german newspaper abendblatt the German mobile handset maker BenQ Mobile wil lay off some 300 workers in Germany.
Three quarters after BenQ taking over Siemens mobile handset manufacturing the management of the company now announces restructuring plans that will result in a reduce of the workforce by about ten percent, or 300 workers.
