Elcon - under new (German) ownership

The new official name of Elcon will be Quicktronics Scandinavia, though products will still be marketed under the Quicktronics Group's name. Bjarne Stenberg will resign as CEO, and the role will be taken over by the Acting Director, Lau Laursen, who will run the unit under the title of managing director of Quicktronics Scandinavia. The acquisition follows a year if strategic cooperation between the companies, under which Quicktronics had small series and prototypes in the trunk to its German customers. Up until now, Quicktronics has been a pure trader with its own logistics and sales office in China.
