Delphi lay off 400 in Hungary
Automotive maker Delphi Hungary Kft, has decided to lay off 400 of 1350 of its staff at its plant in Szombathely, Hungary.
According to local news paper Napi Gazdaság, the reason for the layoffs is the high wage costs in Hungary as compared to Slovakia where the company plans to relocate part of its production.
