Apple buys German startup Metaio

Metaio – which grew out of an internal project within Volkswagen back in 2003 – website has stopped taking orders, stating “Metaio products and subscriptions are no longer available for purchase.” Which does speak in favour of the fact that something big has happened to the company, reports TechCrunch. © Metaio The next piece of the puzzle comes from twitter, with a tweet of what is said to be the legal document showing that Apple has acquired the company. When TechCrunch contacted Apple for a confirmation of the document and received the following quote “Apple buys smaller technology companies from time to time, and we generally do not discuss our purpose or plans.”
